Hi, thanks for the comment on my blog and including the Coburg Craft Group in your list! I have a thing about knitting in summer too - I want to start something, but the thought of holding/touching wool in hot weather, not good!!! Good luck with finding a zipper foot and getting into machine sewing - I am still amazed with my skirt sewing! I found the sewing books I bought have been very useful, and the zip instructions in the skirt pattern I use are actually really easy to follow. I have some good kid's dress up patterns inc. some good cape patterns if you are still looking for one. We have so many dress ups that friends are always borrowing them for parties etc.
Ooooh, I'll be in on this! Cool, sounds like fun!
